B2C - Born to Change

Change is something which is by nature. There is no alternative to avoid change

In corporate world product and service requires a lot of changes. Consumers change their behaviour and culture when time passes. If a product is not adapting to the changes then it will reach the end of life fast.

Key factors to be kept in mind when a change is made

1.       Consumer behaviour or usage pattern : The way consumer uses the product or services changes and their expectation also changes after a period of time. Need to have a connection with consumers always to understand their behaviour and requirements

2.       Competition features: Always keep an eye on what competition is doing and especially on the start-up companies which will always think differently. Need not adapt always but will be able to analyse where the market is moving towards

3.       New technology: All this new technology will bring in a new lookout for a product that can fit into your solution. Like buying a surveillance camera is costly than putting a low-cost mobile phone with software control on the camera.

4.       Life of the product: Always look at the life cycle of the product. Few products or solutions have a certain life and need to make changes within the life cycle, if the end of life is nearing then no point much changes it will die naturally.

Most of the traditional companies stick to the original product and don’t go for any modification. Mostly large installed base will give a feel that change is not required, always have to feel that any new idea can change the life cycle of any product or service within no time
