Sales and Marketing Team

Sales and Marketing team is the face of any company which interacts mostly with internal and external customers, they are the face of any company. All other divisions like Finance, HR, Production, and Admin support the face of the company to achieve its goals.
Marketing comes first before sales and they attract the target customers and make awareness of the company products and services to the market. They have various ways to attract customers and the unique features to its potential customers. They need to understand the market trend and the product or services the company makes.

The sales team comes after the marketing has done their work in attracting potential customers. It is their skill which will help convert potential customers to the actual end users of the company. They also come back with failures and new requirements from the potential customers which will go back to other division to process and make necessary changes in the company’s approach or modification in the products.
Sales job is to interact with different customers, and all are unique. Each customer will have a different requirement. It is this team will find the need of the customer and present to the customer in such a way that its products or services will make life easy for the customers.

All other division of the company will have to work closely with sales and marketing team to make a world class product or services which will help the customers. Always any company will have to focus on their customer, once their priority is customer then other goals like revenue, margins and market share will be achieved automatically. 

If any company takes a shortcut to achieve revenue or margins by giving less importance to customers, they will not be able to survive long term. All this is possible with a strong sales and marketing team.
